For more than one hundred years, the Hotel Boulderado has been a Boulder icon,
a landmark in the downtown skyline, and a reason for the community to celebrate.
The hotel opened its doors to the public on New Years Day 1909.

For the 2008 holiday season, the Hotel Boulderado commissioned a gingerbread replica of the hotel from Stir It Up Cooking School. An estimated thirty pounds of gingerbread dough and fifteen pounds of royal icing were used. (Photos by Randy Jones)
