In the summer of 2008, the Hotel Boulderado performed a "facelift" on its Events Center. Replacing the floral wallpaper and curtains with handsome gold wallpaper and burgundy curtains was only the beginning. Furniture was also re-upholstered in rich burgundy to complement the curtains. In keeping with its green practices during the renovation, the Hotel Boulderado donated over 100 light fixtures to Habitat for Humanities.
