Lisa Lindgren, CHA - General ManagerLisa joined Hotel Boulderado team as General Manager in January 2016. A Colorado native, Lisa has been in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years, working in different markets such as Phoenix/Scottsdale, Northern California, Minneapolis and Denver for various hotel management companies on property and in regional capacities. As GM for Hotel Boulderado, Lisa oversees the 160-room property with three food and beverage outlets and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Previously, Lisa was the General Manager at Table Mountain Inn in Golden, Colorado. Both properties are owned and managed by Concept Restaurants.
David Bartholomew, CHRM - assistant general ManagerDavid began his hospitality career in 2013 as a Reservationist/Revenue Analyst at Hotel Teatro in downtown Denver and joined Hotel Boulderado in March 2016. In a short period of time, he progressed to Reservations Manager, training all front-office staff with reservation procedures and assisting the Revenue Manager. David progressed to the Table Mountain Inn in Golden as Front Office & Revenue Manager, eventually taking on revenue management for Hotel Boulderado and received his Certificate in Hospitality Revenue Management from the American Hotel Lodging Educational Institute. David transitioned into his role as Assistant General Manager in January 2017.
Brandon Williams - Director of Food & BeverageBrandon is a familiar face in Colorado's restaurant industry. With more than 23 years of experience, Williams started his career with Boulder-based Concept Restaurants Inc., owner of Hotel Boulderado, as a dishwasher at Old Chicago in downtown Ft. Collins in 1991. He worked his way up through the ranks at 18 different Old Chicago and Rock Bottom Restaurants and spent time with a few other restaurant companies before returning to his roots with Concept Restaurants in early August 2016. Most recently he was general manager at The Wild Game Entertainment Experience in Evergreen. As food and beverage manager of Hotel Boulderado, Williams oversees all food operations including catering for groups, room service and the on-site Spruce Farm and Fish, The Corner Bar and License No. 1. Williams has deep roots in Colorado, growing up in Pine, graduating from Evergreen High School and attending Colorado State University.
William Stout - Director of BanquetsWilliam brings 12 years of experience in the hotel industry focusing on food and beverage and front office operations. His food and beverage experience ranges from director of banquets and convention services and outlet manager to beach operations manager and room service supervisor. Originally from Indiana, Stout grew up on a farm, attended Indiana University and worked for five hotels including Hyatt Regency in Lake Tahoe, Monterey and San Francisco and W Hotels in Atlanta and New Orleans before joining Hotel Boulderado in August 2016.
Lauren Widmaier - Director of MarketingLauren spent her childhood in the Washington, D.C. area and studied psychology and hospitality and tourism at College of Charleston in South Carolina. Throughout her college career and post-graduation, Widmaier worked at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, South Carolina, starting in the spa and finishing as a Marketing Coordinator before working for Charlestowne Hotels, where she gained experience as a Marketing Manager overseeing initiatives for boutique luxury hotels. After relocating to Denver in 2015, Widmaier continued her career through independently contracted marketing work for three branded hotels before starting as Director of Marketing at Hotel Boulderado in early August 2016.
Cindy Hart - Director of SalesCindy became part of the Hotel Boulderado team in February 2016. She has been a key development leader in the hotel sales industry for more than 20 years, most recently as Director of Sales for Saratoga Resort and Spa in Wyoming and previously serving on the opening team for SpringHill Suites by Marriott at Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora in the same role. She was Dual Director of Sales for White Lodging Services, hiring, training and mentoring sales teams for Courtyard and Residence Inn Golden. Cindy is a third-generation Boulder native and is excited to contribute her leadership experience to the long-term success of Hotel Boulderado.
Laurel McKown - Director of Housekeeping & SustainabilityLaurel is a 30-year employee of Hotel Boulderado and oversees the housekeeping department and the property's sustainability program. Her background includes the mental health field, teaching, and working for the Grand America Company. She attended Carnegie Mellon Art Institute and received her B.F.A. from Wittenberg University.
Camille Burner - Operations ManagerCamille has been with Hotel Boulderado for the past four years utilizing her degree from Radford University in Recreation Parks and Tourism. Originally from Virginia, she started out in guest services and hotel reservations and now is leading the front desk and valet/bell team as Operations Manager.
Ken Davids - Maintenance ManagerKen is a longtime worker for Concept Restaurants, starting a job with Jose Muldoon's in 1982. Two years later, he began working at Hotel Boulderado as kitchen manager of Franco's Restaurant. In 1989, he moved into the maintenance department and shortly after became department head.
Sales, Catering & Revenue Team
Peggy Shreeve - Sales Manager, SMERFE & Association MarketsPeggy joined Hotel Boulderado in June 2016. The native of Minnesota arrived in Colorado to attend University of Northern Colorado, graduating with degree in organizational communications and psychology. She began her hotel career at Denver Marriott City Center in 1986 and 30 years later is proud to be at Hotel Boulderado. Although she has worked in every market segment and for Marriott, Hilton and Intercontinental Hotel Group, the last 10 years have been in the SMERFE market, which is her true passion in the industry.
Joey Kee - Sales Manager, Corporate & Government MarketsJoey, a graduate of Western Kentucky University, is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and joined Hotel Boulderado in June 2016 after 14 years working for White Lodging in a sales and training capacity with multiple Marriott brands and assisting distressed hotels and new openings. Her credentials include various certifications and recognitions in sales and training from White Lodging and Marriott International. Joey was instrumental in the grassroots effort to create Visit Longmont, serving as first president of the organization, and served on Longmont Area Economic Council's primary employer committee for 10 years and was chair in 2013.
Duncan Fraser - Catering ManagerDuncan has been a Hotel Boulderado employee since December 2013, joining the sales team two years later. He is excited about the transition to sales and brings a wealth of hotel knowledge and experience having previously served as Conference Services Coordinator and Front Desk Supervisor. He is currently finishing his undergraduate degree at University of Colorado Boulder.
Samantha Danna - Catering ManagerSam joined Hotel Boulderado as Social Catering Manager - Event & Wedding Planner in May 2016. She relocated to Denver from Charleston, South Carolina where she spent five years as Manager of Operations at Crazy Dutchman Catering. Sam's bachelor's degree in food science from Clemson University and culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of Charleston along with her diverse work experience and vibrant personality will prove useful her role at Hotel Boulderado.
Erin Myers - Catering Manager
DJ Nagle - Executive Chef, Spruce farm & Fish and The Corner BarDJ's culinary passion was fueled at a young age by watching Julia Child and Jacques Pepi. Fast forward to 1992 and DJ had moved to Vail, Colorado to cook in earnest. In Vail, DJ enjoyed a tenure that lasted for 6 years from Line Cook to Executive Chef of a small Smokehouse/ BBQ outpost on the mountain of Beaver Creek. Moving to Denver in 1998 to start a family, DJ held Sous Chef positions at Sfuzzi in Cherry Creek and Yia Yia's in DTC, where he garnered the culinary experience to become the Executive Chef position in 2004 with Fox Restaurant Concepts at Bloom and NoRTH, where mentoring and teaching were the focus for developing future Chefs. DJ than had an opportunity to be a partner in HC Enterprises, - developing a concept, menu and a company with his culinary vision at Harvest: Modern Country Kitchen and The Hobnobber Taverns for the next few years. DJ's career comes full circle back to Denver with Humboldt: Farm Fish Wine and now to Spruce Farm & Fish at Hotel Boulderado. A menu to be proud of, a partnership with a wonderful managerial team and a fantastic space gives DJ the passion and place to embrace and create honest food done right.
Peter Morrison - Executive Chef, Banquets & Special EventsPeter grew up in Shawnee, Kansas and began working in kitchens at age 15. While earning a bachelor's degree in political science from University of Kansas, he continued working in restaurants and developing a love for food and the service industry. His grandparents' avid gardening and grandmother's simple, yet delicious Americana cooking were inspirations and led him to Vail in 1995 to attend culinary school at Johnson & Wales University. In July 1998, Peter started as a cook at Hotel Boulderado and worked his way up to Executive Chef - Banquets and Special Events in 2004, developing a passion for great food, service and historic hotels. While at Hotel Boulderado, he has contributed to local nonprofits such as The Boulder County AIDS Project and Serving Up Hope Luncheon to benefit Community Food Share.
