Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art

Boulder History Museum - Harbeck-Bergheim House
1206 Euclid Avenue, Boulder
Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for students and children, members and children under 5 are free. Hours: Tues - Friday 10 -5 Saturday and Sunday 12 - 4. Exhibits include a 19th-century pharmacy, dental office barber shop, dollhouse, kitchen, sitting room, and artifacts from the museum's collection of 25,000 items including clothing, agricultural and mining tools, toys, and memorabilia relating to Boulder's past.
Carnegie Branch Library for Local History
1125 Pine Street, Boulder
Open Mon. 1-9 p.m.; Tues., Thurs., Fri., and Sat. 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Weds. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Sunday. Located in Boulder's original library building, this branch of the Public Library contains comprehensive local historic materials including books, diaries, 200,000 photographs, oral history tapes, genealogical papers, the A. A. Paddock photos and material donated by the Boulder Historical Society.
CU Heritage Center
CU campus, third floor of Old Main (disabled accessible), Boulder
Open Tues.-Fri. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Housed in CU's first building, the museum offers seven galleries of exhibits including an 1880's classroom, athletic photos and trophies, architectural renderings, Glenn Miller memorabilia, and space suits and artifacts used by some of the 12 astronauts who are CU graduates.
NCAR Mesa Lab
1850 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder
A working research laboratory, features interactive exhibits that include the center’s supercomputers; a telescopic camera; A hands-on demonstrations of lightning, tornadoes and fluid dynamics; two-story mural that depicts the atmosphere; A climate gallery; NCAR’s unique architecture (designed by famed I.M Pei); and the NCAR mesa, which features the wheelchair-accessible Walter Orr Roberts Nature Trail with interpretative signs. There is also a science store and a rotating art gallery.
Shelby American Collection
5020 Chaparral Court, Boulder
The Shelby American Collection represents the rich race heritage of Shelby American and has on display some of the most famous Shelby American cars ever built. This is made possible through the generosity of many Shelby owners and collectors. The museum is also host to displays of period correct automobilia, tools, and tributes to the greats!
World of Wonder (WOW) Children's Museum
110 North Harrison Avenue, Lafayette
A place for toddlers and school age children and their families, offering a variety of interactive and informative educational and creative exhibits and programs that stimulate learning and child development. School groups are welcome.
