Boulder's Most Elegant Affair
Voted #1 Place to Celebrate New Year's Eve by Downtown Boulder readers!

Every year, the Hotel Boulderado makes sure it throws one of the biggest,
most elegant New Year's Eve celebrations in town.
  This tradition stems from
the hotel's own history.  On New Year's Eve of 1909, the night before the Boulderado
opened for business, the community was welcomed in through the doors to explore
the beauty and grandeur of the hotel they had built. In its first few years of operations,
the hotel also welcomed in dances put on for local schools. The lobby would
be cleared of its furniture so the young people could dance on the black and
white tiles. This tradition continues every New Years Eve as well, as the armchairs
and couch sets give way to a bandstand with live music. To honor the anniversary,
our chef prepares the year's most lavish and decadent menu.

Read on to learn how
you can be a part of our history.
