Established in 1898 as a center of art, music and learning, the Colorado Chautauqua continues to serve as a popular destination for arts and entertainment in Boulder. The center is home to two different venues - the Chautauqua Auditorium and the Community House - both hosting music legends like Lyle Lovett, Joan Baez and BB King, important speakers, including William Jennings Bryant, Al Gore and Reverend Jesse Jackson as well as intimate forums, films and family friendly programming throughout the year.
