A Hotel Near Leanin' Tree Museum of Western Art

Established by greeting card publisher and western art afficiando, Ed Trumble, this unique museum and greeting card plant features one of the country's largest private collections of western art, all on display for free. The collection includes more than 250 paintings and 150 bronze sculptures, all depicting scenes and moments of Native American and pioneer life. Visitors can enjoy the museum, then take a tour of the greeting card plant that started it all.

 Museum is open 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm, Saturday; 10am-5pm, Sunday. Plant tours on weekdays at 10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm.

  • What happens on the plant tour?

    Visitors will follow the production process from start to finish to learn how flat sheets of blank paper are transformed into beautiful, full-color greeting cards. The 45-minute tour includes a brief video and a walking tour of the plant.
  • Is there dining available at the museum?

    The museum does not offer a cafe or restaurant, however there are vending machines offering snacks and beverages. Museum staff is happy to help with local dining recommendations.
